Our problem here
at Two Buttons is that we are obsessed with beauty.
In a world where
we are ever more surrounded by the manufactured, the plastic
and the mass-produced, we have come to believe that the
most precious objects to be found anymore are those that
are made by hand. We love anything that has a story behind
it, anything an actual human being made and cared about,
anything old and unique…anything that they aren’t
making any more of these days. As consummate travelers,
we are always discovering such beautiful objects in hidden
corners of the world. Our problem is that we fall in love
with these objects, and then we buy them. Because we have
no self-control whatsoever when it comes to beauty.
Our other problem is that our home is not big enough to hold all the things we have fallen in love with and bought.
Therefore, we have founded this business, in order to sell to you --- our beloved customers – all the beautiful stuff that we can’t fit into our house anymore.
We hope you will help us solve our problem by buying lots of beautiful things, thereby giving us money that we will use to go traveling again and buy more beautiful things, which we will then bring back home and sell to you…and so on...
